Lani's art is quirky, fun and colourful. Her art depicts coastal living. Her love of surfing, cottages, winding roads, chickens and camper-vans, they come to life in her watercolour and water-mixable oil paintings. Her love of drawing and painting began early on, both her parents love to sketch and paint so there was always a brush nearby. Her paintings depict the old and new in her life. Lani took up surfing in her early 20s and still loves the feeling of taking off on a wave, its an electric feeling. Painting is an absolute joy to Lani and this comes across in her painting, you really feel that you are part of the story.
The photo is of Frodo and Lani enjoying the white sands of Keem on Achill.
Pixalili is a textile printing and design studio on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Donegal, we are a family run business and with the help of our rather large digital printer whose name is 'Florence' we turn gorgeous fabric into wonderful prints.
We are constantly inspired by the beautiful area, the nature, the sea and the people in Donegal and we are incredibly lucky to be able to work in such a special place.
